CREW

We
will assist the ships agents in
making arrangements for the crew/non-crews
disembarkation, hospitalization or repatriation
in case of illness, injury or death. A
full report on the condition of the crew/non-crew
and the estimated medical or repatriation
costs are provided to the member through
its P&I Club As medical claims can
be costly and lengthy, we will also assist
in checking and approving all relevant
invoices and medical costs.

POLLUTION |

In
the event of an incident, we assist in
preserving the rights of our clients by
appointing competent surveyors and experts
to investigate and cause and extent of
the pollution. Once the extent of pollution
is known we will assist the experts to
manage this incident by liaising with
local authorities and locally effected
communities.

CARGO
DAMAGE AND LOSSES |

Upon
receipt of instruction, we will deploy
the most competent surveyors to identify
the causes and extent of damage to help
reduce our clients exposure. We
will supervise the activities of the surveyors
to ensure consistent and timely reporting
and that instructions are followed. In
Philippine ports, surveyors are accompanied
on board the vessel and are introduced
to the Master who is fully briefed on
local maritime legislation and working
practice.

SEIZURE
OR ARREST OF VESSEL |

In
view of our close association with the
best local maritime lawyers in the region,
we can assist in lifting arrest orders
against vessels. We will do our utmost
to release the ship and avoid delays and
allow the vessel to continue trading.
We can also assist with the provision
of Letters of Guarantee (LOG).

As
a local correspondent, we can arrange
for the most suitable person to inspect
and assess the extent of the damage but
also to ensure that reasonable steps are
taken by the claimants to minimize the

resulting in lower costs to the shipowner

STOWAWAYS |

bilingual staff assists the Master in
completing the disembarkation formalities
with the authorities on board the vessel
and interviews the stowaway in order to
ascertain the probable nationality. The
Club/Owner is provided with an estimate
of the repatriation costs and we provide
all assistance including escorts etc to
ensure the stowaway is safely and humanely
repatriated.
